A list of reminders and terms

THINGS TO THINK ABOUT WHEN WRITING

-Varying sentence structure
-Careful word choice
-Colorful verbs, adverbs and adjectives!
-Plot structure
-Consistency in tense and person
-Fluency
-Creativity!
-Genre

Things to Think About When Reading

-In what person is it written?
-What is the mood? (How does it make you feel?)
-Is there any vocab you are unfamiliar with? (If so, look it up!)
-Is this written in the past, present or future tense? Or more than one?
-How difficult is this reading?
-Is this a style that you enjoy reading?
-Is this fiction or non-fiction?
